Talking about promotion of the art of silver crafting, she said only a few people with the skill had been left in Pakistan. “Most of them are old Afghan nationals and if the art is not promoted at grassroots level, the country will lose the specialty,” she added. She said the government could introduce silver crafting in vocational institutes as well as other technical training institutes.

“The craft can also be promoted at school level, especially in female students, so that they could become a helping hand for their families,” she added. Samina Aamir
